Lenzing modal is beech pulp regenerated in a closed loop, so the solvent is captured and reused rather than discharged. It is also the reason this trouser drapes the way it does.

Modal is heavier in the hand than viscose and softer than cotton, which in a wide leg means the fabric falls in a column instead of billowing. Nothing structural anywhere in it.

Black, and it packs down to almost nothing.
