The Client Book
Some of what we sell is one of a size.
So we keep a book. Your sizes across every house we carry, the fragrances you have worn and the ones you have circled, the colours you never choose, the dress you tried twice and left on the rail both times.
Then someone who loves you rings in December, not knowing your size and never having been in. We do know. We choose it, wrap it, write the card in their words and post it to you.
No guessing, at either end.
What we write down
Sizes, house by house, because a 12 at Acler is not a 12 at Magali Pascal.
The houses you come back to.
The three fragrances you keep returning to. The one you have not committed to yet. Lucy knows which is which.
The Christian Kimber jacket you held up for him and put back.
What you are looking for and have not found yet. Birthdays, anniversaries, the wedding in November.
What happens then
We ring you when it arrives in your size. Usually there is one.
Lucy sends you three to try at home, chosen for you. If you want the bottle she takes the cost of them off it.
Come on a Tuesday evening and have the place to yourself. Bring whoever you like.
Anything you are buying for someone else, we will choose it, wrap it, write the card and send it. Tell us who they are.
Whatever you buy from us, bring it back when it needs mending, altering or refilling. However long you have had it.
And we will let you know when a house launches with us, or when we stay open late.
The rest of it
Amelie & Frank’s sits on the Polperro vineyard, alongside the dining room, the Hut and the villas. Some of what we do happens in the boutique. Some of it happens at a long table with a glass of something Sam made. We would rather you were there.

What does it cost?
Nothing. There is no tier, no card and no points.
What do you do with my details?
We write down your sizes, the houses you return to, the fragrances you wear and the dates that matter, so we can call you when something arrives and so anyone buying for you does not have to guess.
Can someone buy a gift for me through the book?
Yes. They ring us, we choose it against what is written down, wrap it, write the card in their words and post it.
Do I have to come to Red Hill?
No. Most of the book is built by phone and message. The boutique is one way in, not the only one.
Can I try a fragrance before buying a bottle?
Yes. We send samples chosen against what is in your book, and credit the cost when you buy the bottle.
