Leather is one of the most important staples of our winter and servicing our community here matters to me. Our discipline comes from the store itself, a small and incredibly beautiful room in Red Hill. We search relentlessly for the best in a category then go deep on one hero brand to hold that line.
Second Skin has been my leather hero for four years now. The leather is buttery-soft, the cuts move between classic and contemporary with ease and the production stays small and considered. It arrives at a price that feels genuinely accessible for the quality in your hands, which is what made it impossible for me to go past or move away from.
The label was founded in Australia in 2011 by two friends and every piece is handmade in small batches in Java and Bali by artisans they have worked alongside for more than fifteen years. Carefully chosen lambskin and premium suede, made slowly, worn often and kept for years. That is exactly how we think about leather too.
