Trudon Perfume
From the candle to the skin
Trudon worked in wax for more than three and a half centuries before it made a perfume. The first five came in 2017: Bruma, Olim, II, Révolution and Mortel.
The house gave them to three perfumers. Lyn Harris wrote Olim, II and Révolution. Antoine Lie wrote Bruma and Aphélie. Yann Vasnier wrote Mortel, then Elae and Médie in 2019 and 45° after them. Émilie Bouge came to the house with Vixi and has since written Midnight Omen, Mystique and Carmen.
The bottle is the work of the designer Pauline Deltour. She made it entirely of glass, the cap included. The first bottles were made by Verreries Brosse, a glassworks in Seine-Maritime founded in 1854.
The cap is rippled glass. It evokes the silhouette of La Promeneuse, the glass and brass lantern Deltour also designed for Trudon. The house's lantern, carried on the bottle.
Most of them are eaux de parfum. Nuit Rouge, the trio of 45°, Midnight Omen and Mystique, is made at a concentration of 20 per cent. Carmen, built from the Ernesto candle, is a parfum at 15 per cent.

Are Trudon perfumes eau de parfum or parfum?
Most are eaux de parfum. The Nuit Rouge trio of 45°, Midnight Omen and Mystique is made at a concentration of 20 per cent. Carmen is a parfum at 15 per cent.
How long does Trudon perfume last?
Trudon does not publish a wear time. It does describe Révolution as building on the skin through the day. The Nuit Rouge perfumes are its most concentrated eaux de parfum, at 20 per cent.
What is the cap on a Trudon perfume bottle?
Glass. Pauline Deltour designed the bottle entirely in glass. Its rippled cap evokes the silhouette of La Promeneuse, the glass and brass lantern she also designed for Trudon. The Nuit Rouge bottles are red, with a tinted fluted glass cap.
