Menswear here is one house. Christian Kimber, drawn in Melbourne and cut in Italy and Portugal. Christian comes down to Red Hill himself, cloth over his arm, to sit with you while the jacket is decided.
Womenswear arrives in ones and twos. Australian and European houses, a few pieces at a time, chosen for the long lunch and the drive home in the dark.
Perfumery is where the boutique goes furthest back. Seven independent houses. Florence distilling since 1221, the same family on the same Charente land since 1270, Paris pouring wax since 1643.
The Archive is where a season goes when it ends. One of this, two of that, the last of a size.
