Two per cent elastane is enough to move in and too little to change how the cotton falls.

The other 98% is cotton. The Valiant sits high on the waist, runs full length and closes with a brushed brass button. A seam down the front of each leg pulls the wide leg into a line, so it never hangs as a column of cloth.

Porcelain is a warmer shade of pale denim than white and a more forgiving one. Next to the light-wash Embark, it is the dressier of the two Zoe Kratzmann jeans we carry.
