The front seam is the whole design. It runs down the length of each leg and draws the line longer, which is what makes a short wearable for someone who does not usually wear them.

Zoe Kratzmann cut the Compass in 83% cotton and 17% lyocell. The lyocell softens the hand. The cotton keeps the tailored shape.

Light washed denim, cut long and wide to finish around the knee. It is the short that takes a blazer.
