Trudon Spiritus Sancti Cameos, Box of 4

Spiritus sanctus is Latin for the Holy Spirit, the words spoken in prayer and with the sign of the cross. Trudon's scent of the name is altar candles under a cathedral nave.

Aldehydes and incense vapours come first. Lily of the valley is the heart. Benzoin resin and labdanum hold the base.

Here it comes as cameos, small tablets of scented wax with no wick at all. One sits in La Promeneuse's ceramic dish while a night-light burns beneath and the incense is in the room soon after. Four to a box, around eight hours each.
