Saffron goes first in Mystique and its job is to bring the leather in with it. Émilie Bouge set cedarwood beside the two so the opening has a frame to stand in.
Papyrus, sandalwood and agarwood make the heart. The oud is there for its sweet, modern character, in Trudon's words. Amber, patchouli and ebony wood are the base.
Mystique is one of three perfumes in Nuit Rouge, Trudon's 2025 collection, each concentrated at twenty per cent. 45°, the other we carry from it, is honey and vanilla. Mystique is the dry side of the same collection, leather and wood. The bottle is Pauline Deltour's design in red, with a tinted fluted glass cap set on a translucent base.
