The Romans read dreams as messages. Midnight Omen starts there, with a dream Trudon describes as disturbing, full of ambiguity and allure.
Émilie Bouge built it on iris, which she calls the richest raw material in perfumery, then gave it leather and moss. Iris, mandarin, peony and saffron at the top. A suede leather heart with violet, cashmeran and Nepalese sandalwood. Moss, musks and patchouli at the base. Trudon files it as amber and woody.
It belongs to Nuit Rouge, the trio the house released in 2025 and calls an ode to opulence, each made highly concentrated. Its bottle is the collection's red glass, closed with a tinted fluted glass cap to Pauline Deltour's design.
The mandarin goes first. What is left an hour later, iris and suede over moss, is the fragrance.
