Trudon called its 2026 holiday collection La Nuit des Glaces, the night of mirrors. It is set in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles on a Christmas evening in the eighteenth century, when the firelight was caught by every glass in the room and thrown back again.

Fir is the house's winter forest. Émilie Bouge built it on conifer, myrrh and incense absolute. It is the scent the house brings back most Christmases. Leather, Siberian pine and fir at the top. Gaiac wood, Chinese cedar and myrrh in the heart. Spanish cistus, incense absolute and patchouli underneath.

The glass is made by hand in Tuscany and lined inside with silver leaf laid by hand, then lacquered to a mirror finish. Each scent has its own colour and for Fir it is celadon. The candle is poured in Trudon's workshop in Normandy and comes in a mirrored silver box printed in gold.

The Classic is 270g. It stands 10.5cm high and burns for 50 to 55 hours.

It is a limited edition, made for this Christmas.
