Trudon Fir Holiday Candle 800g

Brecht Evens, the Belgian illustrator and comic-book author, invented constellations for Trudon's 2025 holiday candles. The house called the series Enchanted Night. Fir is one of four scents beneath his sky.

It is Trudon's winter forest. Leather, Siberian pine and fir at the top. Gaiac wood, Chinese cedar and myrrh in the heart. Ambergris, Spanish cistus, incense absolute and patchouli underneath. The leather keeps the pine from smelling fresh. Resin and incense carry it from there.

Three wicks, 110 to 120 hours. Gold leaf is laid by hand on the inside of the glass, with Evens' drawing and a gold label outside. The label is centred by hand as well. Burnt down, the glass is worth keeping as a cachepot for a small plant.

Fir comes back most winters. The drawing on the glass does not.
