Acetate and metal expand at different rates. A frame that combines them has to allow for that at every join.

The Lindsey makes the combination on an aviator, the most tested shape in eyewear and the hardest to make look new. The material change is what does it: blue tortoise acetate where an aviator would usually be all wire. Metal stays at the bridge, where the fit is carried.

Blue tortoise is the colour that stops it reading as a pilot's frame.

Clean the lenses with the cloth and case supplied. Acetate softens in heat, so never leave them on a dashboard. Take them off with both hands.
