Two sheets of acetate are laminated together before the James is cut. Wherever the edge has been shaped, a line of the second colour shows through.

On this frame that line is the only detail. You see it at conversation distance, not across a room. The front is navy, a classic shape with something hidden in it.

Beside a suit, navy passes for dark. Up close it is softer than black against the face.
