Santa Maria Novella Tabacco Toscano Scented Wax Tablets

Open a drawer of winter knitwear in August and this is what you want to find.

Hibiscus petals and myrtle leaves are set into the wax. The tablets are cast and finished by hand, two to a box, 135g, part of the Firenze 1221 Edition. The scent comes from Tabacco Toscano: amber, leather and wood. The same tobacco scents the Officina's Crema da Barba.

They belong where wool and tweed are kept, close to the fabric without resting on it. Santa Maria Novella ask for a cool, dry place away from light and heat. Our Rosa Gardenia tablets are the lighter pair. These are for coats.
