Tabacco Toscano starts with bergamot and Tuscan tobacco leaf. Leather, amber and birch wood follow. Cedarwood, guaiac wood, sandalwood, musk and vanilla sit at the bottom. The house calls it mysterious and velvety and classes it woody and leathery.
It is made with surfactants of vegetable origin and glycerin, 250ml. Poured under a hot bath, or onto the body or a sponge and rinsed in warm water.
The bay is still cold in October. Back from a swim before anyone else is up, the shower goes on as hot as it will go. Tobacco and warm wood in the steam is a long way from the water that was just there.
