The best gift in the shop costs less than a candle and almost nobody has heard of it.

Wax tablets are hung in a wardrobe or laid in a drawer. They are cast and finished by hand in the Florentine workshop, one of the preparations the Officina has never mechanised, and one will hold a linen cupboard for months. Nothing to switch on, refill or throw away.

Acqua della Regina is the citrus Caterina de' Medici carried to France, and it is the first time it has been made as a tablet.
