Santa Maria Novella Rosa Novella Scented Wax Tablets

Spring, solidified. The Officina's own words for these are the essence of spring. The tablets take it literally.

Rosebuds and crimson flower petals are pressed into the wax by hand, so the surface carries the flowers the scent is built on. Rosa Novella here comes through as petitgrain, rose and sandalwood. Two tablets to a box, part of the Firenze 1221 Edition.

A wardrobe, a drawer of shirts, a shelf of folded linen. The tablet sits near the fabric without touching it. The house asks for somewhere cool and dry, away from light and heat. Nothing burns and nothing needs refilling.
