A pomegranate, modelled and fired in terracotta, then soaked in Melograno until the clay holds the scent.
Unglazed terracotta is porous, which is the whole mechanism. The clay takes in the fragrance and gives it back slowly over months, faster or slower depending on the size of the room.
It is 9.5 centimetres across and finished by hand. It sits on its own small plate, which keeps the scented clay off the table or shelf beneath it. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat.
