Melograno is what the Florentine shop smells of, and it is the fragrance people either wear for thirty years or cannot go near.

Pomegranate read through Persia rather than through fruit. Dry, spiced, faintly leathery underneath, with almost none of the sweetness the name promises. It is the house signature and it is not a beginner's scent.
