The tongue is nylon and its edge is left open, so the foam inside shows. On a white leather sneaker where everything else is finished clean, that one raw edge is the point of it.

P448 made the Mason in Italy in white calf leather, with beige suede trim and the perforated logo at the side. Red is the accent.

It came in for that tongue, which has not dated. The season has passed and the price is reduced. Next to the John, also in the Archive, the Mason is the one with the raw edge.
