Michael Caine wore the Lord in front of David Bailey's camera. It has been one of the best known frames Oliver Goldsmith makes ever since.

It was designed in 1961 and the shape has not been softened. Strong angles, a squared lens and a heavy front. Today it is made by hand in Italy from cotton acetate, with optical grade lenses that block UVA and UVB. The lens is 56mm across with a 19mm bridge and 140mm temples. Oliver Goldsmith recommends it for a wider face.

Fit. A heavy square frame that reads large. It suits a strong jaw and it needs room across the brow.

Clean the lenses with the cloth and case supplied. Acetate softens in heat, so never leave them on a dashboard. Take them off with both hands.
