An open hand on a round medallion, 18 millimetres across. Murkani call the hamsa necklace Protect and give its meaning in that one word.

The medallion is rose gold plated onto brass. Plating is judged by its thickness and Murkani state it: two microns.

It belongs to Murkani's Freedom collection, which the label ties to HAGAR Australia's vocational training for survivors of trafficking and abuse. Kiralee McNamara started Murkani in Vietnam in 2011 and runs it now with a team in Melbourne.
