Rayon blended into linen is what stops a linen bustier creasing into a map the moment you sit down.

The Fiorina is the Monaco's tailoring idea in a different cloth. Strapless, buttoned down the front, with flap pockets at the waist, in a structured blend of half linen and half rayon. A retro print carries everything else.

With plain trousers, because the print is not sharing. With the Fiorina shorts it is a set.

MOS The Label is a Sydney label and cuts in Australian sizes, which are the same as UK sizes. Pieces in letter sizes convert on the house chart: an XS is an AU 6, S an AU 8, M an AU 10, L an AU 12, XL an AU 14 and XXL an AU 16. The measurements below are the house's own, in centimetres, taken from the body rather than the garment.

Choosing between two sizes

The house publishes body measurements rather than general fit advice. It gives its model's so you can compare. She is 170cm with an 82cm bust, 62cm waist and 92cm hip. She wears an 8. Any style we know to run differently is noted in its Fit line.

How to measure

Bust: around the fullest part, arms down.
Waist: around the narrowest part of the waistline.
Hip: around the widest part, legs together.

Caring for MOS The Label

The house recommends a cold hand wash or a cold gentle machine cycle to make each piece last. The care label sewn into the piece has the specific instructions.

Cold gentle machine wash. Line dry in the shade. Warm iron while still slightly damp, or leave the creases, which is rather the point of linen.
