Olive is the harder colour to get right in a long dress and the one that suits more people once it is right. That was the reason to buy the Loom in it.

Mos The Label, the Australian label that began as Ministry of Style, gave the Loom embroidered lace detailing and an artisan finish. It is cut loose and flowing to maxi length.

It is past season and it is reduced. Five remain: one size 8, two size 10 and two size 12. The 14s and 16s have gone.

MOS The Label is a Sydney label and cuts in Australian sizes, which are the same as UK sizes. Pieces in letter sizes convert on the house chart: an XS is an AU 6, S an AU 8, M an AU 10, L an AU 12, XL an AU 14 and XXL an AU 16. The measurements below are the house's own, in centimetres, taken from the body rather than the garment.

Choosing between two sizes

The house publishes body measurements rather than general fit advice. It gives its model's so you can compare. She is 170cm with an 82cm bust, 62cm waist and 92cm hip. She wears an 8. Any style we know to run differently is noted in its Fit line.

How to measure

Bust: around the fullest part, arms down.
Waist: around the narrowest part of the waistline.
Hip: around the widest part, legs together.

Caring for MOS The Label

The house recommends a cold hand wash or a cold gentle machine cycle to make each piece last. The care label sewn into the piece has the specific instructions.
