Most long dresses this light need a slip underneath. The Orma has one built in, a cotton lining inside an ultra-light viscose, which is what lets the cloth be this fine and stay opaque.

The cloth is a tie and dye check in lavender tones. A beaded panel sits under the bust and is the one place the dress meets the body. Below it the volume falls free to the hem. Soft ruffles at the shoulders keep the top from looking plain.

Anita Radovanovic founded Mes Demoiselles in Paris in 2006, in a studio on rue Charlot in the Marais. She designs for women drawn to art and travel. Her pieces are meant to adapt to different bodies and to be finished by the person wearing them. The Olia shirt and Osiris trousers we carry are a lavender tie and dye check of the same family.

January, a north wind and thirty-four degrees by eleven in the morning. The volume keeps the dress off the body and the lining keeps it opaque in hard light.
