Black, but not flat. The Niko is woven from viscose and metallic fibre in equal parts, so the cloth crinkles a little and catches the light like wet slate.

Flat pleats at the front give the leg its room. It falls relaxed and straight to a turned-back hem that sits just above the ankle. There are pockets at the side.

Mes Demoiselles style it under an open-knit ivory sweater with ruffled cuffs and a pointed heel.
