Two patterns on one shirt is normally a mistake. Here a tie and dye sits under a check, and the check is faint enough that it reads as texture rather than as a second idea.

Soft viscose, cut long and straight with a slight flare, so the pattern has a large enough surface to make sense. Lavender is doing a lot of work and the cut is deliberately doing none.
