Trudon La Cloche

A cloche was once a functional object in a French home, placed over a wedding wreath to keep the dust off it.

By the middle of the last century nobody was keeping wreaths and the glass survived anyway, first as a collectible and then as decoration. Trudon has used them since the Paris boutique opened, set over a burning candle so the scent gathers under the dome and then releases when you lift it.

It is the quietest object in the shop and the one people pick up.
