The wedding cloche began as an object with a meaning. Over the twentieth century, Trudon writes, it lost that place in the home and became a collectible, then simply decoration. The house gave it a job again. Set over a candle between burns, the dome keeps dust off the wax and holds the fragrance close, so the scent is there when the glass comes off.
The dome is blown glass marked with the Trudon logo, on a wooden base made and polished by hand. It is sized for the Classic and the Petit fits beneath it too.
