Eight & Bob Le Pari d'Honfleur 100ml

Green fig is the fruit before it ripens, which smells of leaf and sap rather than of anything sweet.

Le Pari d'Honfleur opens there with cardamom and violet beside it, then slides into tonka, papyrus and coconut with sandalwood and musk holding the base down. The coconut is what surprises people and it never reads as suncream, because there is too much dry wood underneath it.

Honfleur is on the Normandy coast, which explains the cool green opening.
