Trudon Tseng Terre à Terre Classic Candle 270g

Yu Hui Tseng is a tea master with a house in Paris, La Maison des Trois Thés. Her collection with Trudon began with water falling from the sky and taking on the earth it passes through.

Terre à Terre is the ground itself. Mylène Alran composed it mossy, almost peaty. Violet leaf, grapefruit and elemi at the top. Undergrowth, Indian cypriol and patchouli in the heart. Moss, ambergris and Haitian vetiver at the base.

Fifty to sixty hours, in glass from Vinci in Tuscany, finished by hand. Trudon cuts the wick to a set height for the first burn before it leaves the factory. Afterwards the glass suits a set of calligraphy brushes. It is the candle for a July night when the firewood came in wet and is steaming on the hearth. The room smells of it already.
