Trudon Solis Rex Classic Candle 270g

Solis Rex is the Sun King and the room is the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Trudon describes a trail of incense through conifers, cut with sunlight from citrus.

Eucalyptus and orange at the top. Fir bark in the heart. Cedarwood and incense at the base. A forest and a chapel at once. The orange keeps it from going solemn.

Fifty-five to sixty hours, poured in Normandy into glass from Vinci in Tuscany, finished by hand. Light it on a July night in a room the fire has not reached yet. The fir does the warming for the first hour. The wick arrives cut to a set height for that first burn. When it is finished the glass keeps a bundle of pencils.
