Salta is one of Les Belles Matières, the house's study of raw materials at their source. The material here is grapefruit and the source is the north of Argentina, whose terroir Trudon credits with the intensity of the fruit.
The Petit holds seventy grams, poured at the Normandy workshop into glass from Vinci in Tuscany, finished by hand. Before the finishing, the glass is fired for up to a day. Eighteen to twenty hours, 6.5 centimetres high. Empty, the glass keeps the long matches for every other candle in the house.
