Trudon Marie Antoinette Buste, Rose

The original is a little-known copy attributed to one of the Brachard brothers, who modelled at Sèvres.

Trudon cast her in wax, in rose, at a size for a mantelpiece. She is technically a candle and there is a wick, and almost nobody uses it.

Sculpture you are permitted to burn, which is a strange category and one this house has more or less to itself.
