The collar is the tell. A chore jacket has a collar and no lapel, which is what keeps it from pretending to be tailoring and what lets it sit closed to the throat when the wind comes up.

The Fitzroy is built on Italian cotton with a touch of stretch, four patch pockets, unlined. Structure without stiffness, which in practice means it holds a line across the shoulder and still folds into a bag.

Aegean blue is the departure. Brighter than midnight, greyer than denim. The one that looks best against a white shirt in October.
