Christian Kimber Aireys Aviator Sunglasses, Grey

The Aireys is cut from a solid block of acetate and finished by hand in Italy.

Block acetate carries its colour all the way through. Here the grey runs to the core of the frame, so a scuff on the temple shows grey underneath and the polished edges have depth in them. Moulded plastic, coloured on the surface, looks flat beside it.

Christian Kimber draws it on an aviator line. Of the two Aireys we carry, the grey is the softer. Black frames the eyes hard. Grey sits more gently against fair hair or grey at the temples.
