Piped edges are a finishing technique almost nobody pays for now, because the cord has to be cut on the bias and sewn in by hand at every seam.

The Joelle has them throughout, on a fully lined halter wrap that ties at the side. Eighty-five centimetres in a small, shell buttons, slim through the body.

Lilac, and the finishing is where the money went.
