The Lover Bold is the largest of By Charlotte's three Lover rings. The shape is organic, so the band widens and narrows as it turns. The label describes it as bold and understated at once. Worn alone it holds a hand. In a stack the Thin and the Medium sit beside it.

A band this thick fits differently. By Charlotte notes that it sits tighter than a slimmer ring and suggests going up one size from your usual. Sizes here are US 5 to 9, from 15.8 to 19.0 millimetres inside diameter.

It goes on at the office on a Friday and is still on for the drive down, hand at the top of the wheel. Most jewellery that gets worn is whatever was on when you left.
