Made to Measure & Styling with Christian Kimber
in Red Hill.

Christian comes to you
Amelie & Frank's is the Peninsula home of Christian Kimber, and it is far more than a rail of his clothes. Christian comes down to Red Hill in person for private made to measure appointments, and we host styling days with him in the boutique by appointment, complimentary.
It is a rare thing, the designer himself in the room, cloth in hand, helping you build a wardrobe that suits your life and fits your body. This is menswear the way it should be, unhurried, personal and made for you rather than for everyone.

Made to measure, made for you
Christian Kimber made to measure begins with a private consultation. Together you move through fit, cloth and styling, and the garment is cut to your own measurements and your preferences. It is not a suit off a peg taken in. It is built for you from the first stitch.
The range runs the whole wardrobe. Soft tailored suits and jackets, shirting in premium European cottons, wools, linens and silks, the signature Fitzroy chore jacket and bombers, overcoats, and suede and leather made by specialist workshops in Europe. Cloth is always the starting point, raw silks and Loro Piana wools chosen to be worn often and to gather character rather than become precious.
A guide only. Your final price is set by the cloth and the piece, and confirmed at your consultation.

Styling days, with Christian, complimentary
Through the season we open the boutique for styling days with Christian. By appointment and at no charge, you sit with the designer to work out what actually serves your wardrobe, how pieces layer, what to add and what to leave alone.
It is the opposite of a hard sell. This is refined scruffiness in practice, elegance without stiffness, a way of dressing that moves easily between Melbourne and the coast. You leave with a clearer eye and a wardrobe that works harder, whether or not you order a thing on the day.
