L'Oeuf takes its shape from the Renaissance cabinet of curiosities, which is the right place to file it. It is not quite a diffuser and not quite a sculpture.

The egg is unglazed white ceramic on a wooden stand painted satin black, forty centimetres high with the reeds in. Eight reeds draw up 300ml of fragrance for more than three months. A funnel comes in the box for filling it.

Abd El Kader is Trudon's Moroccan mint tea. Spearmint, ginger and clove with lemon, apple and blackcurrant bud, then jasmine, then vanilla. Green and quick, against a form that is all stillness.
