Trudon L'Oeuf Diffuser, Abd El Kader

L'Œuf is a Renaissance form on a satin-black turned wood stand, drawn from the cabinets of curiosities that European collectors filled with things brought back from everywhere.

The ceramic is left unglazed, which is what lets it diffuse. The fragrance moves through the body of the egg itself rather than off reeds, so there is nothing protruding and nothing to replace.

Abd El Kader inside, mint and ginger over tea and tobacco. The most sculptural diffuser Trudon makes.
