A barrel leg is cut wide at the thigh and drawn back in at the ankle, so the shape is in the trouser rather than in the person wearing it.

The Orchestrate is that cut in a light wash, high waisted, which is what keeps the volume from swallowing the torso. Denim that has been washed down rather than left rigid, so there is no break-in.

With a flat shoe it reads relaxed. With a heel it reads deliberate.
