Trudon Fir Christmas Great Candle 3kg

Trudon built this one on the masquerades Louis XV held at Versailles, where the point of the evening was that nobody knew who anybody was.

Siberian fir over resin and wood, at three kilograms across five wicks, running over two hundred hours. Gilded, and made for a hall or a staircase rather than a room.

Bought for Christmas and still burning at Easter, which is the argument for the Great Candle generally.
