POL Wyatt Boiled Wool Bomber, Ivory

There is no lining in this jacket and no interfacing either. The cloth is doing all of it.

Boiled wool is merino agitated in hot water until the scales on each fibre lock together. It felts, which means it can be cut and left raw without fraying, and it holds a corner the way felt does rather than the way knitwear does.

Ivory is the harder one and the better one, because the shape is the entire point and pale is what shows it. Over black in July, over nothing much in September.
