POL Elina Two Way Shirt, Ink

A sleeve that buttons to a shorter length is an engineering decision rather than a styling suggestion, because the buttons have to be placed at the pattern stage or the fold sits wrong every time.

POL cut the Elina oversized and boxy in cotton, dropped the armholes and put the adjustment into the sleeve, so one shirt covers summer and both shoulder seasons. Full length when it is cool, buttoned short when it is not.

Ink is a navy dark enough to behave like black without the flatness. It is the one to buy if you want the Elina to read as a shirt in its own right. The White is the one to buy if you want a layer.
