Camel denim sounds like a contradiction and then you see it on and understand what it is for.
The cloth is the same organic Italian selvedge, narrow loom, made in Porto and stone-washed before it arrives. Overdyed rather than woven from coloured yarn, which is why the colour sits on the surface with variation in it instead of going flat. It will lighten at the knee and the seat the way indigo does, only warmer.
Wide through the seat, gentle taper, trouser rise. Branded rivets, leather tag, printed pocket lining.
Wear it with everything you would not wear with blue jeans. Navy knitwear, a white shirt, brown suede. It is the pair that gets asked about.
