Christian Kimber Garment-Dyed Oxford Shirt, Sky Blue

Oxford cloth is woven from two different yarn weights, a fine one and a heavier one, crossing each other. That is where the basketweave texture comes from and why it breathes better than poplin.

Dye it after the shirt is made rather than before it is woven and the colour settles unevenly into that texture, deeper where the cloth doubles at the placket and cuff. Made in Portugal, 6cm hidden button-down collar so the points roll without a visible button.

Sky blue is the one that makes a white tee look considered underneath a chore jacket, and the one that survives being worn two days running.
