Christian Kimber Knitted Melange Tie, Blue

Melange means the colour is mixed in the fibre before it is spun, so the yarn carries two or three tones at once rather than one flat shade.

Knitted in Italian silk with no interlining, which keeps the knot small. The melange is why a blue tie reads as blue from across a table and as something more interesting up close.

The one to wear with a navy jacket when a plain navy tie would disappear into it.
